For everyday journeys and island adventures. Explore a few of the places that make Tasmania special.
When is my car reserved?
We check availability before you enter driver details and again when you submit. Submitting creates a temporary hold; complete payment within the displayed reservation period to secure the car.
How do weekly savings work?
We automatically use the weekly rate whenever it costs less than the daily rates for that part of your rental. You see the saving before payment, and your chosen dates stay the same.
Is the bond part of the rental price?
No. The security bond is a separate card authorisation before collection. Release or capture is subject to the Rental Agreement.
Where do I collect and return the car?
Request a car drop-off in Hobart. We agree the handover and return location and time with you. Confirm delivery availability and any fee before paying.
Who can rent a vehicle from BusyHornet Rentals?
Drivers must be at least 21 years of age and no more than 75, hold a current, valid driver licence, and have held that licence for at least 12 months.
What information do I need to provide when booking?
You'll need to provide your contact details, date of birth, residential address, and driver licence details (number, country of issue and expiry) as part of the booking form.
